Gifted singer Nancy Neff is featured as our Musician Spotlight this month. Nancy arrived in Charlotte a few months ago and immediately won over the other members of the choir with her charm and commitment to making music during our Zoom rehearsals. We’re so fortunate she found us because she’s a stellar soprano. We’re looking forward to getting to spend time with her once we start meeting again in person!
Musician Spotlight: Nancy Neff
Hello to my new friends! My name is Nancy Neff. My husband, John Gallagher, and I moved to North Carolina from Massachusetts at the beginning of March of this year. I was born and raised in Connecticut. I moved to Washington State when I enlisted in the Airforce and moved back to the east coast in the early 90’s. I met John in 2015 and we were married in May of 2020. John has three sons and one grandchild, His oldest son (Rob) is living with us as he determines if North Carolina is a good fit for him. The rest remain in Massachusetts. I have two daughters and five grandchildren with one on the way! My oldest daughter lives with our grandchildren in Oregon. The other lives in Philadelphia. I own a business called Heal Me Whole Hypnosis and Family Life Coaching. I’ve been a hypnotist since 2002 and a life coach since 2016. John trains Subaru automotive technicians for a living. So far, we really enjoy North Carolina. I have been in and out of UU church services since the year 2000. I enjoy singing with our choir and look forward to safely doing so in person.
