Activities and Fellowship at Piedmont UU Church
While many opportunities to connect with other members can be found through our education programs, music and choir, and social justice action, we never pass up a chance to enjoy each others’ company! Piedmont UU Church offers a variety of opportunities to connect with others, support wellness, and enrich spirituality. Watch the calendar and email communications for specific opportunities. As pandemic restrictions ease, we hope to return to some of our tried and true favorites.
Church activities and fellowship include:
Beautification Days at the Church
Join members and friends as we periodically spruce up our interior and exterior spaces at both gatherings.
Come play games together and have fun! Bring a game or choose from provided options like tabletop games and cards.
In pre-pandemic times we gathered regularly for pancake suppers, soup dinners, potlucks, and other opportunities to break bread together, on special occasions like the annual Gala or just a Wednesday night. Our 55+ group has often enjoyed a regular weekend breakfast together at a local restaurant, and themed group dinners are popular items at our annual goods and services auction. More recently we’ve had virtual experiences like cooking dishes from around the world with one of the ministers.
LGBTQIA+ Rainbow Group
Coordinating Welcoming Congregation activities, planning educational opportunities, and participating in Pride events.
Piedmont Meditation Group
Meditation and discussion Mondays at 7 pm. All are welcome.
This group meets monthly for fellowship, food, and fun.
